I keep finding more features that have been added to Firefox 1.5, after previously appearing as or in an extension. The most favored of these being drag-n-drop tabs. But, aside from these little added things, the focus of Firefox stays in tact; to provide a light and highly customizable browser.

While All-in-One Gesture's function of scrolling through your tabs in your tab bar has been added to Firefox 1.5 as a default, the extension is, of course, still useful for all of the other features it includes. Most notably mouse gestures, which allow you to perform different browser tasks with simple sweeps and movements of the mouse, but also some smaller features such as rocker navigation, that makes it easy to navigate back and forward, by alternately clicking the left and right mouse buttons. All-in-One Gestures is a must have if you want to maximize your power over your browser.

Gestures

Mouse gestures are performed by holding down the right mouse button and moving the mouse around in specific "gestures" or direction sequences. The ones I find most helpful are Back(Drag the pointer left) and Forward(right), and Tab Left(Up, Left) and Tab Right(Up, Right) that switch between tabs. There are dozens of others, and they are all customizable, so you can change the gesture for each action!

All-in-One Gestures has a lot of different options so you can customize the extension to your liking, through the All-in-One Gestures options(Tools > Extensions > Right click All-in-One Gestures > Options). One thing that I find annoying(but you might enjoy) are Gesture Trails, which show a "trail" when you perform a gesture, I guess to show you what movements you've already made. This can often slow down less-than-good computers. You can turn it off through the All-in-One Gestures options and un-checking the check box labled Enable Gesture Trails.

Rocker Navigation

Rocker Navigation is another really cool feature in this extension. You can go back or forward in the history(just like with the back and forward buttons), by rapidly clicking the right and then the left mouse button(to go Back) or the left and then right buttons(to go Forward).

Scroll Nav

Scroll Nav is a simple feature that allows you to use your mouse wheel to "scroll" through tabs, while hovering over the tab bar. Just as if it were another window with a scroll bar, except it switched between tabs! The default is that scrolling down switches to the right, but of course that can be changed as well!

This is a feature that has been added to Firefox 1.5, so it will be available without this extension in the future, but for now you'll need this extension, or another that does this.

There are more features, but I think you've got enough to chew on for now. The other features should be pretty easy to find!

You can download All-in-One Gestures from Mozilla Update on the All-in-One Gestures Page. The All-in-One Gestures website can be found here.

I hope you enjoy All-in-One Gestures!
