I did update firefox to 1.07, but I wonder why firefox doesn’t autoupdate

I know you probably do, but make sure you’ve got the Automatically check for updates to: check boxes checked under Options > Advanced > Updates.

From what I can gather Firefox doesn’t check for updates each time it starts, but periodically. I don’t know how often it does it, but I’ll try and find out. It’s likely that your Firefox just hadn’t gone through an update check since 1.0.7 came out.

By the way, I like your photos. I guess you’ve probably got a Canon, judging from the filename format. I’ve got a Digital Rebel XT(EOS 350d), and I’m loving it so far. Just a couple nights ago I captured some amazing shots of lightning, which is pretty rare in Southern California.

I got those options checked but it rarely checks for updates, some visitors on my site are still using firefox 1.0 for example!

I know what you mean, about 80% of FXT users use Fx 1.0.6, 18% Fx 1.0.7, and 2% use Fx 1.0.4. It’s been a few days since 1.0.7 was released and you would think people would have updated by now if they have auto-updates on. I’ll do some digging to see if it’s common for Firefox not to check for updates for some reason.

They’re great cameras, especially for the price. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture blog setup yet, but it’s in the planning, so when I get something up I’ll let you know.
